Well I finally signed up for my Black Badge course

These mags are fine for your black badge course but for a match, you'll be bumped in open division. Also, make sure that your belt go through at least 3 loops.

I dunno why he said that. Not sure what TDSA teaches. Im guessing self defence stuff. I valued my black badge I learned a lot from it.

I'm sure there is more than one tdsa course but the one I took was a holster course. Taught the four steps to a clean draw on target and a few different mag changes that they do in competition.
I don't know why he said blackbadge was drawn out. Maybe its just more time spent on everything he taught. Maybe its a tdsa vs ipsc rivalry. No clue.

Enjoy the course and have fun. Just focus on the basics and safety most of all. Dont worry so much about the time it takes. Same goes for your first match you go to.

The black badge course is more involved that just drawing from a holster & mag changes. Pick a pistol discipline and enjoy. I never understood why a handful of people insist on sniping.

I just got home after 9 hours at the range... This was the most fun I have ever had. Got a few videos but nothing worth posting, lol...
