Well I guess the price on Norc m-14s are dropping

ammo

M14 DOCTOR AND OTHERS;

There is plenty of 7.62x51 ammo out there, we own quite a bit off shore....

HOWEVER none of it is approved for Canada....

Your government is keeping you safe from all these evil things....

Do you know WHY that is?

Is the Lieberal bureaucracy at NRCAN screwing things up (yet again)?

I will load the gun with good intentions. Also if that ammo from last september ever shows up I will be pissed if I don't get a call or at the price we all did the pre-order at. I don't think this is wrong becuase we had dibs last year!!!

Where is the ammo from? I Imagine their is some Norinco in their, but is their any from say Austria or SA?

I'm about to pop my cherry on the M305, I just placed my order. My wife is still not over the last handgun I bought though. This is really not going to settle well....LOL

DAVID K;
"Maybe because it wasn't the truth? "

This is the point at which I get annoyed.... If you are questioning our integrity ? Now I get upset....

I tell you what, you prove to me that we lied about our posting as of that date and I will give you one of the new M-305b rifles.... However If you cannot prove it you donate $429. to one of the many organizations I support.

I think its called putting your money where your mouth is.... Do we have a bet ??
John

How about this....

Posted in December, 2007
...
That said, as you are aware sometime ago Marstar purchased all remaining components for the M-14 that remained in China, we contracted to have these components built into finished rifles....

Regards and thank you
John

Let me reitterate... Marstar purchased all remaining components for the M-14 that remained in China

I think that pretty much qualifies as "These are the last ones."(meaning the 2007 batch)

Unless your contention is that every last part of the M-14's that are being marketed now, are newly manufactured, then it was not the truth when you said "Marstar purchased all remaining components for the M-14 that remained in China"

QED David K is correct.

Do you have David's shipping address?

Seriously guys? Slamming John for bringing in cheap semi-auto .308's? I'm just freaking happy that there are more M14's on the market. If the government was saying "Our water is slowing down, we have just bought all of the remaining water out of the U.S." and then when everyone was getting thirsty they said "Hey, they found more water in the U.S.. And we are bringing more to Canada." Would anyone #####?

Oh yeah. You guys.

IIRC, I believe he siad that he bought up all remaining parts and these are NEW part. So I'm lead to belive that Norinco started up the M305 again and they have met John's (Marstar) approval. Seriously, everybody stop #####in and enjoy the hard work that Marstar does for us Canadians.

This is what I understand as well, the 2007 M14s were assembled out of parts previously manufactured. There were no M14s being built at that time. The new Norinco and Poly's that have shown up are from a new production line that has since started up. I have a 2007 but I am still thrilled new ones are coming in, and am waiting with baited breath for the Italian ones to hit the street.

I can't believe the #####ing by some people on this site, it's a wonder John posts here at all anymore :rolleyes:

SPLATTER AND DAVID K;
I have tried to explain this several times, perhaps I am typing too fast for your reading abilities....
Several years ago Marstar purchased ALL remaining parts in China for the the M-305, we had them assembled into rifles.... They enventualy sold out, we only had a few thousand....

I WILL REPEAT THE NEW OFFERING is a completely new rifle production from the ground up, ALL NEWLY MADE PARTS, therefore ALL NEW RIFLES....

I'm afarid this is as clear as I can be....
John

It is obvious I cannot post without being called a liar, I cannot offer explanations without having them thrown back at me.... I cannot answer questions to the satisfaction of the "experts" present here.

Maybe it is time to back off, Simple solution, shut up John.

With all due respect, that is uncalled for and ignorant, especially for a dealer. Not everyone reads every post and thread here, Quite honestly, "these are the very last ones" was trumpeted very loudly, so people are confused and are asking a question.

John, most of us appreciate the good work that you do. I too am in a type of customer service position and I have found that some people cannot be satisfied. Keep posting, no need to listen to the haters. What you are doing (importing and selling products) should be (and is for us, the majority of normal people) simple. Some guys will complain no matter what you do, when you accept that you will be more satisfied in your work. Some people are hooked on drama and BS and we can't change them.

just speculating John,but the major US importer that helped underwrite the original M-14S deal wouldn't go by the initials CIA,late of Montreal?? PS-most of us do genuinely appreciate the efforts to bring these products to us-even if many don't understand the complexities and bureaucracy involved in an international firearms transaction-keep up the good work !
