Happy Halloween Everyone...

Joyce took her 2nd Whitetail buck with a ML and a 245 grain Barnes Spitfire. We grunted and called our way from 526 yds to 198 yds...without a response...let out a fawn bleat...8 does and 3 bucks start moving our way..her deer stops quartering to us at 140 yds, if she holds behind the shoulder she gut shoots him...so in her 4th yr of hunting she chooses to place the cross hairs inside the shoulder on the neck...smokes him...after she shoots she says "I know he isnt the giant we all dream of but he gave me an excellant opportunity and I sealed the deal". She certainly did...

Her walk...confident but cautious...

That is so great. Some woman you got there!

My wife still squirms when I mention that my next gun is going to be a hunting rifle.

"They're too cute to kill."
"Yeah, they're cute alright. All nicely framed by the rim of a frying pan!!"

Damn I envy you folks living in the west first an amazing Muley then a great WT Buck what more can you ask for?....

Congrats and thanks again for sharing!

Here is a recount of my wifes 4th yr hunting...
1) 63" Pronghorn Antelope with a bow at 48 yds
2) 1 of 2 Mule deer does (1 down(no pics), 1 tag left)
3)WT Buck with her muzzle loader

JUST A NOTE: For those of u who do not use Barnes Spitfires or TMZ's in your muzzle loaders...you are missing out...everyone of them we have recovered looks exactly like picture 3...100% expansion, 100% perfect, 100% of the time...you owe it to yourself...they ROCK and make u smile...just like her...

take care
