You're not allowed to use anything smaller than 000buck for deer in Ontario.

check the regs pal smallest shot in ontario you can use is #1 buck. 000 is the largest buckshot...

I'd imagine it would tear a big chunk out of the paper in the center... I think the wad would still be there too
