Well, the VCs(Varmint Cong) were well prepared for our arrival.
Bunkers, traps(Badger holes), and tunnels were strewn all around the prairies.
But we endured and fought bravely. No confirmed numbers, but figure the VC casualty count to be 150-200+.
The 12 guage performed flawlessly, and sprayed death to many an unwary gopher. Shooting cheapo #4's at ranges up to about 30-40 yards tops. Was quite acceptable spreads.
A few pix to share(Nothing to special)

Quick gear review:
Blackhawk X-draw Tactical Shotgun vest: Awesome!! Holds everything I need!!
Blackhawk Shotshell holder drop leg platform: Very comfy, doesnt flop around, need to find use for extra pockets(Supposed to hold flashbangs)
Blackhawk Hellstorm kneepads: Alot more comfy than I am used to in kneepads. I also want to get the elbow pads, when I shoot with my .22 I fire alot from a prone supported position....kneepads help alot with keeping cactus and whatnot from stabbing me in the knees.....I also fire from a kneeling position, and well, rocks hurt knees....
Blackhawk cheekpad: Saved my cheeks, and holds 5 sheels fro quick access!!
Remmy 870: Very nice to shoot, never had any slugs or 00 buck tho....need some of them to really get a feel.....but after ~40ish rounds my shoulder isnt even sore....
So elbow pads, and I also want to get some nice tactical boots....
As you can see I was the sole provider of Bear/Zombie defense...Wife and my other friend only had rimfires.... a .22 and a .17 HMR just wont drop a bear....
(Daddy's girl appreciates a fine firearm as well as I do
