Nothing to exciting, but we did see some grouse a Hawk with a rabbit and a Doe White Tail as well.
The SXS is a Spanish Side Lock in 20 gauge.
The Doe ran across the road in front of us and stopped for the picture.

Not as varied as kamlooky, but we did see game ;)

A white tail...........use to be a bunch around here, but haven't seen one in a bit.
Might be the full season on either him/her culling them back?
About three or four years ago it was almost 50/50 on seeing either or eyether.
Kid was out today and found some does and a few grouse.
Nice to see the grouse count up from days of yore.

Thanks fer the fotos Flewtchie...........

looky, these White Tails are just yonder over the top from Boston Bar ;)
Lots of powerline construction going on right now too, so be careful out there and please abide by the ''No Shooting'' signs these
contractors have placed close to their works yards and sites.
Yup, them chickens are not shy right now you might walk right up to the one you just shot and three more will flush from beneath your feet.
BTW, your snake picture is the only Garter Snake I have seen in a couple of years and I generally get 500 km during the hunting season on logging roads.
Thanks for that.
**for some reason the pictures do not enlarge when I click on once posted, other wise the Hawk and Rabbit would show up alot better.
Tight Groups,

I have memories buried deep in me nawgg'n of fishing Anderson River that flows through
Boston Bar.
Single digit on age and we use to drive up from Vancouver on a Friday night and spend
the weekend up there fishing the krick.
Jump frum boulder to bolder.
Had a maw and cub incounter on trip.
Pa wuzz nun too happy with no gun that trip.
Then awn, I packed me bigg'un 44-40 loaded up.
Fun times, c'ept'in when the pa got his arze awl sick.
Only thing the doc could find were bite marks on the inside
of his left leg.
Figured a snattlerake crawled in hiz sleep'n bag and bit him.
Pa was nun too happy for a spell.
Need to do that run again just fer ole times sake.

You know if one can hop over from Boston Bar to the Coq?

I may have worked on this project, and let me tell you, if you want blue grouse you've got them.

Lots of bear and deer sign, turkeys as well but maybe not in the same area.
