Went for Hike Yesterday

Congrats on the ram TJ. I took a spill not long after shooting mine too but I fared better than Vanessa. Just some good scrapes and big bruises on my legs and arm. My little Brno however suffered more.....

Hope Vanessa heals up fast and doesn't suffer too much pain.

As much as it sucks going out year after year just remember how sweet it will be the moment you tag one. Imagine getting your first one with your oldest in tow.:cool: What a moment that will be.

I just saw some of the rough edit and I think you're going to have to give me a print to hangdown in the Gun room.

You are welcome to any you want. Heck we could even set it up with your pack board if you want. Timing for pictures right now could not be more perfect in our happy little town. The leaves are perfect!

Ya, at 9 pounds it is a bit of a club for sheep hunting but damn it shoots well although at 59 yards, pretty well any gun I own would have done the job. It was interesting though, at that range I still recovered the bullet on the far side. It had pushed a large amount of bone through an exit hole but the bullet itself didn't make it out. First time I've seen that big of an exit hole with the bullet still in the animal.

I was hoping my A7 would be here for sheep season but it hasn't made it yet. Next year I guess! Thanks for the kind words everyone.
