went out to-day teaching my wife

went out to the ncc walking trails in the west end of ottawa today decided to take my wife out and show her how to track and I.D scrapes and judge size and what not, we stalked around the woods for about 2 hours and i brought my grunt call for the hell of it. we ended up calling 2 beutifull does in within 20 yds of us. next time i am bringing a camera. my wife was blown away with how close we got and how beautifull they were lol

now i just cant wait till my son is old enough to do the same with him
to bad its a tradition thats been dying these past few years
i remeber when i went out with my father the first time was the best thing i ever did

no convincing needed but she is 6.5 months pregnent so she cant go with me this season but she cant wait till next season so she can get a sitter for the 2 little ones and get her own trophy on the wall and in the freezer
