I went to shoot with some collegues yesterday, in Fort Worth, Texas
We walked in, 6 of us, to Elk Castle indoor range.
After filling up a form and reading a page of the range regulations, they gave us 2 lanes, 2 pistols (we started with 1x SIG GSR 1911 and 1 x Glock 17)
After 1 hour or so, we switched pistols for for a Springfield in .40 and a Taurus revolver in .357.
We fired total:
4 boxes of .45
4 boxes of 9mm
3 boxes of .40
1 box of .38 Spl
Total price for the 6 of us: 213 USD, including range fee, pistol rental, targets, ammo, glasses and earmuff rental... So it cost me 35$
We had a great time, they had 30+ pistols to choose from
Most of us are going back next friday...
Now, we have to choose what we will rent next
Damn that 1911 felt good...
