Went to a range for the first time in my life last weekend.
I feel incredibly lucky to have fired a Swiss Arms CQB as well as a Sig Sauer
X5.

What got me completely hooked on this incredible hobby is the
HK P30 I fired for the first time. I LOVED IT. It fit my small hands perfectly, and the weight was just right.

I was so nervous! But I had an amazing mentor by my side. His patience, not to mention the patience and encouragement of the range staff, made my first time so incredible... now I'M HOOKED!

I decided to join this forum because if you are all as nice as the people I've already met in this sport, I'm looking forward to learning from you.

Now I'm stuck in Toronto without my HK P30. Sigh. I miss you.

The EESA club is having an open house june 12-13....six ranges, over 100 firearms for you to choose from to try, plus archery.....PM me for details.
Welcome aboard!

Regardless of what BS hype the media spews, I have, in my 25 years of shooting, made many friends via gun connections - some of them even got invited to my wedding!

Welcome to the sport - I hope it brings you as much joy as it does for me!

You have discovered what my wife and daughter did, That shooting is a fun, they can do it well, and they don't have to compete with anyone to have fun. Glad you tried it and will stay aboard ;-)

The only thing I hated about guns is the money I was spending.....and explaining it to my better half so I got her involved....problem solved.

Welcome aboard.

Even if you're stuck in Toronto, you can go to Target Sports to shoot more P30 and Sigs. It's a bit of a drive but worth it.
