Well, I went to watch my first Cowboy Action event. What a blast!!

I went to the Guelph Rod & Gun Club. Nice facilities, great people.

Spent some time talking with "Crow" and "Rawhide". They both patiently answered all my dumb questions. Everyone was very friendly and helpfull, keeping an eye out for the newbie!!

This sure is a great sport, loved the costumes and the old iron. The black powder was great!!

Just wanted to thank all the folks involved, I will be atteneding more and hope to get into it soon!!

Ye s afriend and myself were invited to come out in a shoot at our club and I have to say it was the most shooting fun I have had . The bad news is now My friend and myself are hooked real bad and now it is going to cost. I picked up and 1910 Parker shot gun and also a Henry bigboy 44 mag. Now I am not very patiently waiting for my RPAL to be approved to get my revolvers.
It is a whole heap of fun and I even have a new name"Buckshot"

Well Bill,

If you went to the big one in Guelph on Monday you sure made your first match a BIG one. I think they set a record for attendance. They expected 60 competitors and got 91.

"Crow" is an awesome shooter and a real asset to Cowboy Action in Ontario. He runs the Barrie matches. Come on out to the next one if you can.

Regards,

Tuco

Yep, there was a great turn out. They had to cancle a couple of things, just too many folks!!

It was amazing the diversity of guns that were used as well. Not just all cookie cutter stuff.

I will be attending another.......hope to get to Barrie!!

Sounds almost too good to be true for someone catching the CAS bug:D
What is the tube length on the Rugers?
What shotgun and what holsters?
What does the cart look like?
Any pictures you can post on the exchange?
