Hey,

So, anyone shot it today? What's it like ;) ? Lots of swingers/drop turners/etc?

I'm going tomorrow...

Good match with some aiming and a few minipoppers, 1strong, 1 weak, 1 freestyle speed shoot, 1 swinger/ drop turner speed shoot, med course with ports, 32 rounder with confusing(at first) target order but only 1 way to actually shoot it ( L8-R7-LF8-RF9)

Ohhh, come on... I hate those short term memory tests (because I have no short term memory...   ) Or is this something else (i.e. not one of those where you see the same target from multiple positions and have to remember which one to shoot at from where)?

oh boy... a "mind-boggling-short-term memory" test stage eh?
I feel the same way as you do Omen. :)

The 32 round stage was not a memory stage in the Kingston nationals style as there was more than enough time to figure it out and if you shot everything that you saw from each shooting position you would only shoot 1 or 2 targets twice.
As I said it only seemed confusing at first glance.
Besides, and if you don't know this it's time you did, IPSC is a mental game using firearms, so as long as you have enough time to figure out what you are going to do there should be no problem. Practice and experience make it easier to figure out what to do. Doing it takes the skill.

You are right Ipsik, I shot the match today, among the 7-stages I think the 32-round stage was my best run :). It was only confusing at first, but got it figured out later.
That was a fun match.
I salute Dr Dave, the RO's and all those who helped organize yet another fun and great L2 match.
