Were do you buy 9mm.

Around Ottawa I stop into Lebarons every now and then. If they just got a load in I buy a whack of it.
If not you can order it.
I buy the odd case from dealers on the web if it's worth adding the price of shipping.

Oh yeah, Marstar sells it by the case too.

If I have the time I can load 1000 9mm for the price of a case of 500. But if I dont have the time I pick up a case of 9mm from Ken at Wild West in Edmonton, he has great pricing.

I buy most of my ammo at Williams Arms. They carry Wolf remanufactured ammo, which so far I like.

I was thinking about buying 1000 rounds directly from Wolf because the prices are pretty good (around $170), but I bet all that heavy lead is going to make for a really high shipping cost.
 
I just visit Lebaron from time to time. How can you go wrong with $16/100 or so?
round 9.50/50 of wincleans also and no fouling in the barrel whatsoever.
Otherwise, reloading is cheap if you have the time.

I bet you live in Ontario. I experienced several frustrating weeks trying to get him to send me 1k 9mm LRN bullets. He insisted he sent them, they never showed but he never charged my Visa either. Finally Wolfgang told me to stop bothering him, he no longer wanted to do business with me, I could keep the bullets free. Needless to say, months later, no charge, no bullets. Now I deal with Higginson's :)
 
I think I must have overestimated the cost of factory ammo. I bought a box of 147 grain Winclean for $1 more than what I paid for Wolf 135 grain lead round nose.

Maybe I'll just give the box of Wolf stuff away to another club member and stick with the Winclean for now, knowing how clean it is (hence the name I guess!)

Buying direct from Wolf would be a lot less, but.. meh. I hope to be reloading in the next 3-6 months anyway.

becareful with Wolf ammo...check every bullet before loading!

best is to us a chamber check guage and look for bullet seating issues.
 
I ordered 5000rds from Kurt at Combat Masters/ Canadian BDX. Very helpfull and didn't mind my questions. Should be here tommorrow, but more than likely Monday or tuesday. Shipping 5000rds is never cheap, but the cheaper price and Ipsc friendly loads should be at a more tolerable level than factory.
