I have seen some hints that Iver Johnson may have made some 9x19 M1 carbine clones in what seems like eons ago to me. Has anyone ever seen one?

I think they did, they used... hi-power mags? or proprietary, I can't recall exactly. I've never seen one in Canada (though I'm not exactly proliferate in milsurp circles).

I also did hear on here that somebody also brought in a bunch of M1 carbines that had been converted to 7.62 Tok as well. I wonder how common those are.

I have one of the 7.62x25 tok m1 carbines

came in by mistake from lever arms

the commies or the white army (or both) ran out of a reliable supply of .30 carbine but had lots or tok ammo so they converted many

Ive never fired mine

lever called me the day my rifles got here to alert me of the possibility and to offer to take it back IF i had one

think mine is a quality hardware

Did the 7.62 Tok carbines also use modified magazines? I would imagine the .30 carbine has a different shape from the 7.62 x 25 cartridge.

Ultimately, I think we should see if we could get the Chinese to make some non-res copies of the M1 in 7.62 Tok, 9mm and .30 carbine.
