anyone know any stores that have .45 Winchester magnum in stock?
one of our local stores said the last time they had it in was 2007. I know Winchester still makes it though.
 
that will be a tough one, but hopefully you find some or can at least order. maybe irunguns can help? You should really try and find brass and reload.

i almost sprang for an LAR Grizzly on EE a few months ago, but based on a thorough (but by no means exhaustive) search, ammo was a limiting factor and i don't reload.
 
i am hoping that if i cant find a store selling it that the next gun show might have some. it makes me mad a guy in the US has a die set with 50 brass but you cant ship the brass to Canada. how stupid is that.
 
Ya i hear you. Maybe an importer can help you out on that. definitely check irunguns. Also there is a list of approved ammo that can be imported so you might luck out. if you are reloading, at least you can use the regular 45 auto dies.

so what are you shooting? LAR, Wildey, or AMT? i love the 45 win mag. can"t understand why it didn't take off, at least south of the border. it is the perfect magnum auto round with Canadian roots no less!

I got real lucky! I went to do the paper work on the wildey and the guy had a box of ammo for it! now at least I can reload these if I cant find any other ammo for awhile.
