hi i am looking for a good deer hunting area in ontario?i have hunted for many years in saskatchewan and manitoba now its time to do ontario looking for suggestions please??

Likely too late for this year. The firearms deer season opened yesterday. However, anywhere in Southern Ontario will do. Written landowner permission is required.
A non-resident licence isn't cheap though. You need an Outdors Card tax card too

any area in mind in southern ontario?rifle or muzzle loader is fine buy me

Most of the eastern counties should have good deer numbers, and more crown land than the SW area.
There's usually a muzzle loader season the first full week of December.
Rifle is already underway, and will finish this weekend or next depending on WMU.

i was thinking about the cornwall area or some weres near the upper canada village area but that is just a idea i had.pretty much i would like to drive about 3 to 4 hours from the quebec border from montreal..

There are large crown land around Calabogie. That would be a good jump off point. Calabogie is about an hour drive north-west of Ottawa.

In NW Ontario, the gun season starts the first Saturday in October and goes through December 15. WMUs 5-12 are loaded with deer and are much closer to Sask. The vast majority of land is crown. Having lived up there for 20 years vs. the past 12 in Toronto, I've discovered how difficult it is to find a place to hunt in Southern Ontario compared to the north.

Got a nice whitetail buck on Thanksgiving Monday in 7B this year too

i would be going out there to shoot a nice rack is what i am looking for 130 class would be nice.as far as meat hunting i dont have any problem with that here.
