West Coast M14 Support Group , Lowermainland M14 Clinic, December 11, 2010

HELL YA!
Bring your rifle and don't worry about tools because powmia56 said he was coming and that gun nutter has every tool know to man kind for the M14.
See Ya there

Good 1. I'll tell the lazy @$$ web master to do that this weekend. ;)

Hi. My name is powmia56 and I am a toolaholic. I was enabled for years by my (now ex-) wife who, if I got frustrated due to lack of the proper tool for the job, would tell me to go buy it. It was wonderful and I highly recommend having that kind of wife. :)

I will be there with tools in hand.

I'm a total gun Noob, but I've got an Norinco M14 on the way. I'm pretty keen on learning as much about it as possible - I'm thinking this clinic would be a good crash course?
Or should I be putting a few(thousand :D) more rounds through my gun first?
Y not come & do both?
It's at a rifle range this time.

I'm in the exact same shoes, M14 purchased but waiting to be sent as I haven't even received my PAL yet. I plan to shoot it every opportunity I get after I receive it before the clinic runs. I don't see any downside to attending, maybe some of the stuff discussed will be way beyond my knowledge of the M14, but I'm bound to learn lots, and I figure if I have any questions, these are the best people to ask(provided they have the patience for my noob questions:p). At $35 dollars you'll get more than your moneys worth guaranteed.

Trying to book the time off right now.
I'm glad to hear there's going to be at least on other soon to be gun fanatic there!

-that's exactly what I was thinking. Plus, the other more experienced folk will enjoy the entertainment provided by the stupid questions I'll be asking.

I'll try to shoulder my share of the stupid questions, hate to see you over burdened.;) I'm just going to tell myself, they are laughing with me, not at me. If I tell myself enough I may start to believe it. Just remember, when engaged in conversation, pretend to understand, smile, nod, and agree with whatever they happen to be confusing you with. You'll know me right away, always smiling, nodding, and looking agreeable.

I'm in vancouver at the machinist picking up barrels, on my blackberry so will check pm's and emails in a couple days. I hate typing on this tiny device... LOL
For those new to the rifle, no question is a dumb one ;) the clinic is geared for those with little knowledge and those with more advanced knowledge/skills/tools will be there to shed the light :)

Of course there are people who come to the clinic who would have to visit the range approximately 1,000 times to put a few thousand rounds through their rifle.

You know who you are! :sniper:

Yep I am never telling you my deepest :ninja: secrets again.

I would really like to go, but it's right before final exams. Hopefully the next one!

Please pm me to register. This one is filling up fast. I have been in meetings much of this week and will answer pm's and update the list saturday nite when I get home.
Everyone who has posted so far is in ;)

sorry for disappearing folks. Our entire community has been having major issues with telus phone lines over the past couple months and recent wind storms up here have resulted in days and this time weeks of no internet and several days without a phone line. lines have been replaced throught our area and all the lines running into my house are now new and everything seems to be functioning fine..... though i'm still on fricken dial up
this clinic is 100% a go so no worries regardless of my internet issues. I am sorting through the payments and will update the list shortly.
I will not be accepting or answering clinic related p.m.'s or emails for a few more days as i have many unhappy clients that have had no contact from me in the past couple weeks.

Two words Thomas. "Satellite phone" . A friend on the fringes of Kamloops has one and seems cheaper than my cell phone. Might as well go satellite internet while you're at it. Business write off. O.k. that's more than two words.
