West Coast Rangers Rondyvous

Just a quick report that the West Coast Rangers had an excellent rondyvous this past weekend. The weather was warm and dry and I actually went home with dry canvas. The trails are always very scenic and the pistol trail I thought was much better this year with onions, potatoes and pieces of chalk as innovative targets.
Bottom line is many thanks to the Port Alberni crowd for putting on the rondyvous.

Well I stopped in on Sunday. It was my first Rendezvous experience. Looked like everyone was having a good time. I tried my hand at the Hawk and Knife trail, also for the first time, and that was all good until my wife and daughter stuck the Hawk way faster than I did. Once I had it figured out though I was doing alright. Thanks to Al L. for that one.

Maybe next year I'll stay for the whole event and make some smoke. The trails were impressive and I wish I had more time to try them out. BTW the cannons were everyone favorite.

Cooterdog was on Vac. and dropped in to say Hi, MWB I was camped right across from Al , too bad we didn't get to meet.Maybe at Nanaimo.June 27-28th
