Someone posted here a name a while ago , but I really need someone's help in restoring/machining a pre-1900's Winchester 1897 to working order.......all the parts are there (except the wood, naturally ) , and it's just a bit of machining needed to get the takedown pieces to mate once again.........help ?

Peter knows his Model 97's. Reliable, and usually done in a short time.

You could try Del Strazza @www.countryclassics08.com.He slicks up 97's for around $150.00 for cowboy shooting and should have no problems with the rest.
