Western crown land VS Eastern private land

Well, we live at the edge of no-where in Eastern-Qc... I takes me about 20min to be on crown land, seldom see anyone...

If we're not happy with the mountains in the backyard, about 1h drive will get there...

I'd stay away from Ste-Anne-des-Monts and the North side of Gaspésie... Yes, land/property is cheap... but... it's a different mentality...

Hunting in Quebec is unreal. I applied for and got a cow moose tag and then when I tried to find the season dates I found out I couldn't use it as I had not booked a stay back in the January before . Turned out you can apply for them but can't ever use them if you don't book a say and the cheapest stay is like 2 grand but you need several people also.
