I am a bit frustrated. Trying to purchase some powder on Western Metal web site. I get all the way through the order, to the shipping location, and it automatically defaults to pickup, at a local range. Not good seeing I'm in Ontario. No contact number, no response via e mail either. Anyone else have similar experience ?

The shopping cart was probably programmed to present all the shipping options available, but now there is only one available, that is all it can give you.

They replied to me a week ago, glitch on the website but still dont know how to order. Getting back to people is not there strong point.

Maybe they no longer ship powder.

I have seen that statement on a few dealers websites.

They still ship, they quoted me 42 dollars for 1 or 2 pounds, but no idea how to order it.

I just spoke to another dealer in Alberta regarding the same IMR 4198 powder and the shipping to Ontario would be $125.00. Crazy

If you don't have a UPS depot or your town/city is served by a third party contractor, then they can't ship to you. I tried to order powder from Canada Ammo and had to have it shipped to a friend's son in St. Catharine's. I ordered from them a few years ago with no problems, shipped thru Canada Post. That option is gone now.

No issue last fall ordering and receiving powder in less than a week. Can't remember how it was shipped, but perhaps Canpar. No extra shipping fee either. Not sure what has changed but I have always had good luck with them. I am in Sask.
