How much money do you want to spend?
Are you thinking a replica or the real deal?
I can't remember what he had in that movie because it's been a long time since I watched it but it was probably a colt single action army.

Post a picture if you can.....

"...what pistol..." It was a Single Action Army(not likely a Colt or a real firearm though. Movie prop guns aren't real guns.). A real Colt SAA will cost you a fortune. Epp's is listing two Colt .44-40 SAA's at $1788.62.
There are lots of decent copies though.
Epp's is also listing several .45 Colt Ruger Vaqueros, ss or blued at $572. Uberti copies at $495. Epp's isn't the only place though. Shooter's Choice carries Rugers too. Epp's is closer to Newmarket though.

Well i was just looking for a pistol I though maybe it would be a antique it is. You know so I can fire it out side of a range like at the farm or somthing. just a thought. Thanks guys

do a search for cimarron firearms I think they make a man with no name replica. Either them or Uberti. I think Clint used a Richards Mason conversion in the movie.

Eastwood used a 5 1/2" SAA in Hang 'Em High, Colt-or-Clone status unknown. Being that it was late 1960's Hollywood, it could very well have been an original Colt. It could even have been his same SAA from his Rawhide days.

Single action revolvers aren't designated as antiques on the basis of the age of the design alone. In order to be deemed an antique, it would have to be in an obsolete rim-fire caliber. I'm not aware of any SAA's or clones that are antiques by Canadian definition.

What you want is an earlier model revolver or pistol in percussion or rim fire.

It was probably a Uberti or some other Italian make. These were not Hollywood productions , they were spaghetti Westerns made in Italy.
