Westrifle - First Experience Great!

I was in the market for an SKS. I read many posts about some of the condition of what is left out there with some dismay; I thought I missed the boat this late in the game. I reviewed many different vendors and settled on Westrifle. I called and spoke to Al who had expert knowledge on SKS' and told him what I was looking for. He recommended a 1954 model. He also explained that the ones he carried were in good condition, which I could verify on the website. Since I ordered it, I was worried it wouldn't be in as good condition as described and/or missing parts.

The baby arrived today and I am very pleased with its condition, which seems like super grade. The pictures on Westrifle's website did not do the gun justice. It's beautiful. Everything was expertly packed. All S/Ns match. All parts are there and the ammo clip is nicely pinned. The price was right and the bonus was the free shipping. I'm a very happy customer. Can't wait to clean off the cosmoline and shoot it in the spring.

These Westrifle shill posts seem to spring up from time to time.

I've ordered from them once and the rifle I received was not as described. Won't be ordering from them again.

I have ordered rifles from other vendors on CGN and Hical was good and westrifle close behind Hical but the best has to go to wanstalls I ordered a Mosin with hex reciever and asked for a good one and they sent me this really nice Mosin with a laminated piece on the butt stock so I looked it up and it is uncommon to have a wood stock with laminated heel on the butt end. It's a really nice looking rifle.
