Westrifle just posted some beautiful non-refurbished Tulas for $245 !!

Sorry do not have SVT- 40 mags.
There is two different models of SVT-40 mags (to be honest 3 but we will not see 3rd one in Canada).
Some mags fit perfectly and some required extra work . Because we had to many complains we discontinue them.

here is what i got for 245 ,a BBQ painted referb

will its not what i ordered ,i dont know what the serial# was on the gun i ordered .I just can not believe that they would send out a BBQ painted referb that i can get at the local canadian tire store any day of the week and try and pass it of as a non referb rifle and their response is ok send it back for a refund ,i dont want to go trough the trouble of re packaging and waiting for a refund .I think they just try to pass the rifle of as a non referb and the customer would not know the difference

They were posted on the "new arrivals" page and not the regular "Russian SKS" page. Which did you order from?

The silence is deafening in this thread. I think gordonlbyrne is handling this rather well considering he did not even get an extra can of Tremclad for touch ups. There was such an uproar over the cheap Arma Coat SKS and yet not so much a peep on this issue.

And this could also be a one off mistake....I also ordered one of the $245 non refurbs and mines blued and looks great.
Give this some time, I think anyone can make a mistake.

Last time I saw a thread like this is was "light the torches, get the pitch forks"... in fact, I think Westrifle even had something to say about all that in someone else's forum... about their vastly superior SKSs to everyone else in the country... eyeroll

they dont respond to negative feed back and they dont pay return shipping so i guess that leaves me with a BBQ painted referb or out 40 to ship it back.If they sent the wrong rifle i cant see where that is my fault .Westrifle is quick to respond to positive feed back but not so quick to step up to the plate and admit that the mistake was theirs. No one would pay 245 for such a rifle and as a customer you should receive what was ordered,

Just wondering Gordon, was there a resolution to this issue? With all the negativity surrounding the $147 Arma Coat SKS I figured there would be a crap storm about your $245 Tremclad "unissued unfired SKS" you received.

Well, last log ons for both Westrifle representatives on CGN are before the issue was first posted in this thread.

That sucks. You can check your order confirmation email for the serial number of what you ordered. It's a four-digit number:\\

"1 x 1956 Russian SKS Hardwood, # 4219, Looks unfired and Unissued = $245.00"

I doubt Westrifle tried to pass off an obvious refurb as unfired unrefurbished. I'm thinking an honest mistake, but they should pick up the return shipping. They did for me when I had to return a gun (sent the wrong barrel length) a couple of months ago.
Edit: Oops, the return was with another site sponsor, not Westrifle. Disregard that last sentence.
