I always been entirely satisfied with Westrifle, and you can see what you get. Just my experience.

Just make sure what you are getting for the money you are spending. Some vendors throw out the terms New/Unissued, Unissued, Numbers matching, Museum quality, refurbished ect, ect ect. The meaning of these terms varies between vendors. You could go to your local Home Hardware or Canadian Tire or local gun shop and find great quality SKS's. If you have the ability to pick your rifle in person then you will not be disappointed for the money you spent.

Lever SKSs are good for what they are. You might even find a true jem there. Westrifle usually has a better quality and they back up their product. Not so much Lever. If you want a cheap beater of course, Lever is fine for that.

Weimajack > westrifle if ordering blind

if in person LEVER ARMS service sucks but you get to pick (pick carefully find a good one) and you walk out with a great deal (plus ammo is cheap at levers)

Doesn't have to be Lever - Reliable and Italian both have them for $200 as well.
I picked up a nice refurb 1950 at Italian, but I have a feeling I'll end up with more of a collector from Westrifle...

I have a lever arms sks, got it for Christmas, and I am all about lowest price if it comes to a bush gun. I have already shot quite a few rounds and for the price it seems fine!
