I am here not to start a war just wondering why would anyone buy one from SFRC for 129 dollars when westrifle.com sells them for $110 and westrifle has pictures to choose from

http://www.westrifle.com/specialmosin.html for $110

http://www.theammosource.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_23&products_id=690 $129

Also westrifle has a deal for ammo goo for hunting season

Mosin Nagant 1891/30 + 200 rds of MFS ammuntion

Sale : $250.00
*not included shipping and taxes

Shipping costs, for one. Both are great to deal with, but it costs a butt pile of moolah to get a rifle from BC to MB or ON.

Do these dealers get them in bulk for about $50/rifle? There's tons of them around and in stock with these dealers, so they are cheap. Supply and demand. I'm a lot closer to SFRC so I ordered from them. Ordering cross country is more expensive for shipping.

Are we really debating over a cost difference of 19 $ ?. Go with the closest dealer that has a reputable reputation.
The same as buying Canadian; until the local dealer does something sketchy to you or an acquaintance...keep the money local.
The difference is less than a 6 pack and a pack of cigs.
The rifle itself is the same cost as a tank of fuel in a full size truck.
Maybe it's just me but it hardly seems worth considering unless there is a quality difference.
No offense intended, but holy smokes...19 bucks?

There is a $10 over size charge with Canada Post that I don't factor into the shipping and I eat it.

Getting to choose exactly which rifle you buy is worth a lot to some people. Not just the $19 from what I got from the OP. That feature is one of the reasons I like buying from Trade Ex.

Got one from tradeex and one from westrifle ,great to deal with and shipping was about the same, actually westrifle had the deal back then $135. shipping incl. so they just removed shipping and dropped the price to $110. same same!
I liked picking the rifle from pics. next best thing to being there, you can pick the ones you want and year if they have it. The tradeex rifle was a 1925 hex ,I requested that year and westrifle didn't have at that time, tradeex went though the touble of finding and sending me a beauty 1925 hex Mosin,$179.+ shipping and tax.which is average for hex Mosins.great people to deal with .\\shipping a rifle anywhere in Canada is approx the same so take your pick and enjoy. there is a thread "Mosin Roulette " go on that and join in the fun .Find the cheapest and best condition .

Wow you stay away one day from CGN and there is so much going on.
Let me start by saying thank for all of people that bought rifles and ammunition from us. We try to do our best.
It is good that people compare us to SFRC and tradex that means that we are doing a good job. Both SFRC and Tradex are excellent dealers in my opinion.
What I want to say next is you the buyer still has to make a discussion on where he or she want to buy their rifles. Whether it is cost factor , shipping time factor or being able to choose your rifle.
As to us on shipping cost. We try to get the cheapest possible rate for our clients. Cost of shipping runs at about 25 to 35 dollars across Canada. So when we had 135 dollars special we were charging the cheapest cost of shipping to ship to New Foundland and other provinces that were far away. Problem with that was that many people were sending me an emails saying that SFRC was selling it cheaper at 129 dollars. This is why we changed to 110 dollars price for Mosin. Tradex is a bit more expensive as far as I can see right now but I remember they had shooting grade before in the same range.
As to combo deal I will always give a deal to someone who is buying a rifle and Ammo from us. Rifle and ammo has to be shipped separately as per transportation Canada and I can see how it is annoying, but it is kind of safety per cations for general public, even do they can travel on the same truck.
As to requests of choosing a special mosin for your order. I can go by year, but it is very hard to find hex receiver especially when you have 2000 Mosins in stock. I will try to search for some hex receiver and put some on the web as soon as possible. May be on the weekend.

As to SFRC and Tradex they are good dealers and i wish all of you buyers could buy one Mosin from one of us.
