If you wet-tumble brass that has previously been tumbled in a dry media, check for trapped bits in the primer holes!
Yesterday, I retumbled some 9mm brass that had been done in old corn-cob media and was dull and dirty inside.
Today I found that the primers were full of soapy water and the bits of corn cob had swelled up like little corks.
I'll put them back out in the sun to dry some more, but that is the last time I'll do that!

In other words when tumbling in corncob media make sure you get all the corncob out.

The problem has nothing to do with wet tumbling in stainless media.
The corncob was stuck there wether you wet tumbled or not.

You can try a finer grade of corncob too.

I have had two pieces of SS media stuck in the primer hole of .45acp on more than one occasion .. Really stuck .. Needle nose plyers stuck .. Just have to have your eyes open ... Now I deprime by hand and tumble before sizing so no risk for me of attempting to jam a primer in on top of two SS pins ( use a lee sizer in the next stage ) , but still have to look at each case with all media.

Happens to me on multiple calibers also. That annoys me a bit, but it's way less frequent than corncob jamming, plus you can see those easily.

But honestly, SS pin tumbling is kind of annoying me alot lately so I bought 20/40 corncob and tumble with that, and it will not jam in the primer hole, and it works just fine to get the cases "clean enough".

All that soap, and water, and drying, and crap make ss tumbling a hassle to me. I prefer to just dump into corncob and be done.

(unless I have a batch of like 1000 to do, I just toss into the SS and 4 hours later it's all perfect)
