Whad'ya think of my Norinco AR??

Anyways, back on subject, do the Norcs take most AR accessories? I would not mind getting in on the black rifle fun, but my bank account is pretty starved at the moment so a Norc looks like a winner to me.

EDIT: hold up stupid question, obviously they do since you have them on yours lol.

Fact #1 well we all know what made in china means
Fact #2 name another semi with forward assist
First off who is 'we' and why do 'we' know this?
What does it MEAN catfish? And how is it that you know so much about these things!? Surely, you must have some better design of your own?
Look, everyone has their likes and dislikes. I for one, don't really like the M&P, because I feel it is ugly. However, I don't run around on the internet crapping on whatever everyone else likes. You just did. That's not nice.
Furthermore, the fact that you can't even spell your occupation (metrologist) pretty much rids you and your 'facts' of any credibility.
peace

Fact #2 name another semi with forward assist

The Robarm XCR incorporates a forward assist in the cocking handle, as does that US made clone of the Steyr AUG. Given the number of enemy fatalities caused by the M16 FOW over the past 40+ years, can we simply accept that they function as intended for a service rifle. It amazes me that people would believe that the US would keep such a "failed design" as their primary arm for longer than any other rifle in their history. Love it or hate it, the AR/M16 FOW is the service rifle of the free world, get over it.

My friend bought a Norinco 9mm handgun (Sig replica). Our good friend and gunsmith told him you get what you pay for, but that doesn't mean it's crap. Has troubles with reloads. I am not really a fan of going cheap, but sometimes it is the only option and I can't judge someone for doing the same. The rig looks fine and if it shoots well then good for the fella who saved himself some cash. I just don't like people who come on here and cross the line with attacking someones statement instead of offering their own. I mean if you have something to say, say it, don't interject and act like you know more. I see a lot of turds who make it their agenda to quote someones post and sh!t on them rather than post a view and explain thier point. If you have something to say, be diplomatic, we are after all on the same side for Christ sake. Brothers in arms.

Amen. Can I get an Amen? :D

lol power, ignore that guy. i had heard bad things about norincos and then i had a chance to shoot both the ar and the two-tone .45 a cpl weeks ago. they were both very nice. buddy had done some work on his ar as well. i think yours looks good except for the light at the front, what do you use that for? i was so impressed w/ the norinco that my next purchase will be a nickel .45 when marstar gets em in.

$10 flash light and an old scope mount :p

Nice build. You can't really say its a norinco anymore. All the important parts have been changed. (barrel. :p)

Is that a bushnell red dot on top? How do you like it?

yeah, its called Bushnell Trophy something.

So far no issues with it. long batterly life, holds its zero well

I didnt have any issues fitting my american made parts to the Norinco parts

The M4 version does. Note gratuitous Norc #### follows:

The later versions even accept complete US lowers and uppers. All of the parts attached to the Armalite lower shown here have been mounted on the original Norc lower. Also note this: There is no such thing as a cheap black rifle addiction

As far as going to war goes, if you were asking from Venezuela, Paraguay or Iran you might not have a choice, Norinco sells issue firearms to all of the above. The Norc M4 upper is an F/A upper.

AMEN.
I run an Armalite M15A4 16" match barrel. I would be honored to shoot along side you fellows. Arrogance is a disease with no vaccine.
Nice rigs guys!

If talking about firearms: good deals :D

Most of them, but few have a dedicated one like the AR-15. The reason the AR-15 has a dedicated forward assist is because the charging handle can't be used as one. In most other semi-auto firearms, the charging handle is part of, or is attached to the BCG, so it can be used as a forward assist if needed, and a dedicated one like on the AR-15 is not required.

+1

Sig 55X series (charging handle)HK G36/SL8 (both known for resounding reliability) UMP/USC45 (thumb-cut assist on bolt), Benelli shotguns, AK47 and all variants (bolt handle), Steyr AUG (charging handle rotates up and can be used as a forward assist), all HK "precision" roller locked guns (PSG-1, MSG-90 and the belt fed guns)

As AR180shooter said, the AR15's charging handle can't act as a forward assist, so they put one on the side instead.

Nice build. Yes I would take my CQ311 to war it shoots as well as any colt. I've had my Norc for years and the only ammo it didn't like was Norc. ammo. The trigger is even not bad. If it functions and you're havin fun then thats all that matters. But I guess like in anything else there also are gun snobs.
