Considering your AR started life as a CQ311 (if I am not mistaken) it had a metric thread where the buffer tube threads into the lower.
AR buffer tubes for the collapsible stocks are not metric threaded. I hope you didn't force anything.
so how do i bolt the Magpul stock on to the norc?

very nice job on your ar! love to see peaple enjoying there toys as much as i do mine. as per the "cat", if he had the cash he would run one to. love my ar's from my home built dlask to my 6920 and 6940. just may pick up a norinco to see what there all about. make a good trainer. enjoy your toys boys

My daughter's AR (cause what 10 year old can appreciate the difference between a 900 dollar gun and a 1800 dollar gun).
Round count is up around 1900. Only thing that has changed is the trigger has become smoother over time.
Daughter liked the green furniture of the Magpul MOE line. Pistol grip and forend fits her better than factory offerings. Its never failed to go bang when the trigger has been pulled.
In her ignorance she doesn't know that it is a failed design or made in China. All she knows is that its fun to hang out with her Dad putting rounds downrange.
