Whad'ya think of my Norinco AR??

My daughter's AR (cause what 10 year old can appreciate the difference between a 900 dollar gun and a 1800 dollar gun).

CIMG7845.jpg

Round count is up around 1900. Only thing that has changed is the trigger has become smoother over time.
Daughter liked the green furniture of the Magpul MOE line. Pistol grip and forend fits her better than factory offerings. Its never failed to go bang when the trigger has been pulled.

In her ignorance she doesn't know that it is a failed design or made in China. All she knows is that its fun to hang out with her Dad putting rounds downrange.

Ignorance must be bliss.

This post for the WIN!

Catfish are bottom feeders are they not?

My My some of us are sensitive aren't we? must be youngins.
the facts remain norinco is chinesse crap and the AR bolt design ain't far behind

Well, I read this whole column up to this point and have a few things to add.

First, I want to say Power Pill that what you accomplished for the money looks really good. The light is really interesting because I have one of those that I use around the house. It's an LED and really bright and easy to use and I have often thought that one day someone will figure out that they don't have to cough up 200+ for a surefire. Well done and looks much better than the original.

As for CatFishSteve's comments you should not worry. It is easy to call them as you see them when your head is so far up your a**hole that you are no longer breathing air anymore. And no CatFishSteve we are not all "youngins" which I think is spelled "younguns" according to the Beverly Hillbillies Concise Dictionary. Obviously you must have the "Redneck Grade Three Guide to Kentucky Esperanto" which does not get much use anymore. Please update yourself the next time you remove yourself from your worn out armchair.

Next, the Chinese do not collectively produce garbage products. For instance, they have a VERY sophisticated aerospace industry that builds a lot of components for the major aerospace manufacturers around the world. They also produce a large amount of computer products. If you have a Dell laptop or computer it was likely made in China. Assuming that they produce only crap is a "head in the sand" approach and you will finally figure it out when your factory closes in North America.

Finally, just as a matter of your own personal pride everyone, try previewing your posts for grammar and spelling. I know this is an informal place of meeting but it is hard to read some posts with the amount of spelling and grammatical "faux pas" that are offered up. For instance "your" being used instead of "you're" which is a contraction of "you" and "are". Another is "its" being used instead of "it's" which is a contraction of "it" and "is". Take some pride in your posts.

In closing I would like to say that this thread was surprising. For the first time I have seen someone post their project and, with the exception of a few people with nothing better to do than denigrate to make up for their own powerless lives, have had most of the posters support him/her. Well done.

aaahhhaaahhaahhaahhaahhaa!!!!!!!!
Nicely put!!!

Weak.

OH my god!!! thats an abomination!! I'm not keen on AR's to begin with its a flawed design ( how many other semis do you see with a forward assist (bandaid solution)) and then made be norinco. Jesus I hope you didn't pay much. I suppose it could be fun at the sand pit at close range provided it doesn't jam all the time

You must not be in the military/or have served.

catfishstevens-

m16 weapons platform is great. nothing wrong with norinco either.

m16 has a forward assit, so in very bad conditions or extended firing you don't have a issue. not many other weapons i no of have that, so basicly when you jam or have bolt problems on other rifles your fuc*ed.

also look at how many potential platforms can be made from the basic m16 rifle.

besides, most of us no that in the real world you use what is issued. even spec op's have a limited invetory and rely on time tested weapons not the latest "bells and whistles" firearm like the movies might want you to believe.

i think to many movies for you..... stick to what you no best "airsoft" or some one is going to stamp "NO DESSERT" on your ration card.

Hey did anyone else have troubles with the safety switch, when installing the MOE grip?

Mine was just flopping around, then i found the spring for it, but now it is too stiff, and wont move at all......

It is tight, until you switch from safe to fire, or vise versa. Then it is flopping around like a dogs #### in a shirt sleeve.

Look very nice rifle
Where did you buy the Magpul Moe line?

For me the Norc M4, I try to leave it Norc as much as possible, the only thing I'd consider changing is maybe the LPK, I find the trigger asssembly very roughly made & feels cheap..so on the long run I really don't know if it'll last.

Overall the Norc upper is good to go.
