What .22 should I get?

Another vote for the Ruger.
Bought one a few months ago with a buddy, bull barrell and its the new mkIII
has scope rail with it and its extremely easy to shoot and very accurate.
I also intend to buy the S&W 617 as well. Also a great gun.
Ruger has moved the mag. release to a more sensible location for ease of use now.
Had owned a Walther P22 and found it extremely small, it fit my 10yr old's hand but not mine or the wifes. Also a major challenge to strip and re assemble (read, pain in the a*s).

The takedown is a pain. Also do yourself a favour and buy a rubber mallet. Aftr taking the Ruger apart the first time, you'll understand.

That being said both my Ruger pistols work flawlessly and the accuracy is very good.

Two other things to add.

The Sig Mosquito and the Ruger are different types of pisols.

The Ruger especially the target models will be more accurate. It's an entry target pistol. The sig is based on a combat model design so it shoud feed more reliable, most likely take down is a breeze and therefore cleaning is easier. You lose out in accuracy.

If you're interested in accuracy and entry target shooting get the Ruger target models.
For plinking/putting a lot of bullets down range, then go for the Sig.

If you go for the Ruger. Get a stainless model. They seem to be better made in terms of fit/finish. Cleaning is easier, and take down goes much smoother.
