what .22LR rifle has the best trigger out of box?

The trigger pull on a CZ 453 is sure great but as many complains on many forums, the trigger is a little far to reach compared to the 452's and 455's.
But this is not the case with the CZ set trigger on other models like the 527...
That been said, out of the box, the CZ set-trigger is hard to beat except for higher end rifles.

CZ 452

CZ 453 ( see the position of the trigger blade and its not even in the *Set* mode which will move the blade even more further towards the front )

^^ rather than grind away on the trigger blade, you could just swap that accu-blade spring with one from a general "click" pen, they're usually very light and will reduce the blade pull to next to nothing.

Thanks for the tips! I think I’ll try the spring replacement first! Easier to undo haha

I was expecting all the comments for the Accu Trigger and am happy to see all the comments for the CZ 452 as that's what I'm thinking of getting. a RH for me and LH for my SiL and then checking out what he prefers for shooting...LH or RH, as he's a righty with a lefty eye. :p

I'll read more into this yodave kit for the CZ's. I had a 527 and did like it's single stage trigger quite a bit. to have similarly on the 452 would be nice. :)

Difficult to beat the Savage accutriggers. And the rifles shoot darn close to a CZ for a lot less cashola.

Second this strongly. The accu-trigger MKII are awesome out of the box. But the MKII with the standard solid trigger I bought was TERRIBLE. That being said a file, some 600 grit sandpaper and a beer can folded shim under the trigger group and it's now as good as the accu triigger version ;) Just need a little patience and elbow grease.

Anybody try the "Mr Fly" trigger from CZ?

I read the American forum and it seems to be hit or miss some people were doing some work on their stock to make it fit. I’ll just stick with the YoDave kit ,cheaper and works perfect. Forgot to add some mechanical problems putting the trigger in place but can’t remember the exact problem.

Does anyone care to comment on what the Browning Buckmark Rifles are like out of the box? If the trigger on the rifles are anything like what the UDX pistols have then the Buckmark will get my vote. Never fired a Buckmark rifle before tho. Spent plenty of time behind the Buckmark UDX pistol tho....

About 20% more accurate than a 10/22. The trigger is as good as a URX pistol. I changed the spring in mine to a Silhouette pistol spring and it is very good now.
But a Savage accutrigger breaks cleaner.
The Buckmark pistols are amazing, and have amazing triggers. But when ported into a rifle platform and shooting from 50-300m you can feel the shortcomings of the system that you cannot feel in a pistol.
Still a decent rifle in its own way though. Mine is the hB Lam Target model

If you look at the Schultz and Larsen match rifles that Tradex has, they have excellent set triggers. I found an old brochure on the rifles, and they're supposed to be a 1.5 oz pull, and there's no creep or movement before it breaks the shot. Best trigger on any gun I've ever shot, and they're quite reasonable priced if you're ok with a 16 lb single shot.

I think this is a very difficult question! I personally feel trigger pull is an individual thing. It's hard to explain but everyone's brain/ motor skills work different! Some people can memorize trigger creep to the instant before it breaks. It doesn't matter how heavy the trigger is, their brain knows and feels that little gritty spot before let off and that is what makes it work for them. Other's need a trigger that breaks like glass and is almost a surprise! Triggers are really a personal taste thing for the most part. That is why aftermarket trigger company's exist. They have realized that adjustability is what sells.

My Suhl 150 Standard has the best trigger I have ever used on a rimfire.
For light sporters, my Remington 541T came with a fully adjustable trigger, and it is quite good.
