What .35 caliber cartritridges were Marlins levers chambered in?

Entirely different, I believe it's a necked up 307win, but performs similar to a 358win.
In a Marlin it's the 336ER model. 1983 to about 1990 I think.

Is that a necked up .308 or entirely different?
Pretty much the same - yes - 308 necked up with a 30-30 rim. The 307Win is basically a 308 with a 30-30 rim.
The rimless 358Win (just a necked up 308 case) dies are sold and used to load for 356Win - but using a 30-30 shell holder for the rim.
Though not a "recommended" practice, I've using necked up 308 cases in my 356Win Marlin. You just have to be sure the headspce is correct on the shoulder since there is no rim. Cycled and ejected fine.
Good luck finding a 336ER - only 2441 were made and are hard to find and expensive. A great brush gun though - I got mine decades back.

Just finding 356win brass can be tough. I spent a week making phone calls, and sending e-mails across Canada, and I came up with 150 new brass. I bought 100 307win brass as well, as they are easily necked up to 356win. Your next chore will be to find flat nosed .358" bullets. I couldn't find the 220gr Speer bullets, and ended up settling for the 180gr Speer bullets. It wasn't hard to find 200gr Hornady round nose bullets, but the Speer bullets have a reputation for holding together better.

I use the 200 FTX in my .356/.358's... they feed well and are accurate... and they hold together just fine.
