Kam...posts like this ^ are like a skunk that sprays in the yard. I mean...I still like my yard, just don't want to hang around in it for a while.

Let me translate as best as I can. lol

I own a pair of American's and prefer them to the fat barrel version. (CZ american over the Varmint)
I purchased a CZ455 Super match with (ok I lose it here) eye run sights and cant get myself pumped to wear the new off of it. (guessing he cant bring himself to carry it in the bush is what he means)
Describing the ten round steel mag and the "eyerun" (???) sights and humpy (heavy?) stock.
Its a super match needing a new owner...

I gather he likes it to much to use it as a hunting rifle and is willing to sell it.

^lol... much appreciated. I'm pretty good at the phonetic spelling thing...just puzzled about the motives. :)

Well, I traded my American for a Lux! I threw in a Boyd's stock and a scope to make up the difference for a new gun. I'm looking forward to receiving it. Should I get a receiver peep sight to match the one I have on my 527 Lux, or are the stock sights pretty good? Also can anyone recommend a good shooting sling?

I purchased a CZ455 Super match with iron sights and can't get myself pumped to wear the new off of it.
With the ten round steel mag and the iron sights and European-style "humpback" stock... It's a super match needing a new owner.

Fixed it for you...

I think "humpy" stock is the European style on the higher end 22's. The butt stock is curved down iffy for scopes but great for iron (eye-run) sights.

I have 2 452 rifles in 22 lr a standard/ trainer and an americian .both are great shooters and enjoy shooting both .I also had the 16.5" barreled americian and foolishly sold it . the americian is my favorite for the simple fact of my poor eye sight . Still kicking my self for not buying a full stock 452 befor they went out of production . Just my opinion but the 455 is a lesser quality rifle than the 452 .

I have owned several 22lr models: Varmint, FS, and 2E. All were 452 models. Sold them all, but not because they were not shooters. For bench shooting I preferred the Varmint. In fact, thanks to 264magnum I now own a really nice 452Varmint again.
Still on the hunt for a nice 452 Full Stock.

I prefer the 16.5" barreled 452 American. Managed to pick one up at a gun show and have been very happy with it. Points and handles great with a Nikon 2 -7. Its a shame we cant have suppressors up here :(

I most likely bought one of the last few scouts available in Canada and absolutely love it! Great compact feel as well as craftsmanship. I will be holding onto this one.
