What 9mm do you shoot the most accurately, and LEAST accurately?

Here's the winner right here. Its the shooter not the gear that determines performance.

Epic. :D

Ha ha, but seriously, i only have 2 9mms and of them I seem to shoot my Beretta 92 best and Glock 17 2nd best.
Saying that however, I do agree with the above posts and think it's more than likely me and not the pistols who is responsible for the accuracy!

The other question that needs to be asked, is what level of "accuracy" are we talking about? Most of the handguns owned on this site are service/duty guns that were never designed or intended to be Olympic level performers. In addition to that, at what ranges are we talking? Unless there is a set standard and all makes/models were/are tested the same the data is incorrect. Lastly, what level of "accuracy" is required by the user? A zone hits at range is good enough for 99% of handgun owners.

I would like to add +1 for my Tanfoglio Match, followed second by my CZ 75B... the absolute worst... Springfield XD ....

I agree it has alot to do with the shooter.. but why can one guy shoot one pistol well and fail with another one.. I am talking steel plates at 15 to 25 yards..

I would say almost any new 9mm will shoot under 4" at 25m so your really splitting hairs here.

Best one IMO CZ 75 champ

I agree to a point. Switching from a good trigger to a poor trigger takes it's toll tho.

I agree, but a good trigger can also mask some shooter errors that may materialize over longer ranges, increased speed, or under stress. Be careful of the lies a "good" trigger will whisper to you. I thought I could shoot when I had my Hi Power, then I bought a Glock and was dissapointed. Then I went through about ten other pistols before I realized that it was me that couldn't shoot.

The first step is admitting you have a problem.:D

worst..Beretta 92, best would be tanfoglio Limited Custom...or close to that would be a stock2.
I shot a PPC match with a new Limited Custom,...never having shot it more than 150rds...shot perfect score until the weak hand part....all rounds into the 9 ring...

Yup. Agree 100%

Also agree with this.

I have the STI Spartan and it's the most accurate centerfire I've shot. I only have about 500rnds through it but I can easily shoot 2" groups at 15yds (2 hand freehand) but l last week at the club I put the last 20 rounds basically in the same hole at 15 yds. I imagine it will only improve from there. I had a XD 40 with a 9mm conv. barrel and I shot about 3" groups at 15yds with it. The absolute worst for me was a Llama 1911 9mm, couldn't group well at all with that one! TC

How has no one mentioned this gun?

SIG P210

Best would be a Sig P210-5 I used to own, sold it in a moment of weekness. Close would be a Sig X-five L1 and a S&W PPC9. If I could find a RRA Limited Match or an Ed Brown ET in 9mm I think both would be at the #1 spot!

Worst for me is the good'ol S&W 59xx series and Ruger P series...
