I love Sig too and I want one but can't get myself around the idea of paying $1000+ for one....ohhhh maybe someday when I win the lottery, or get a raise, or find one for the right price all worn out.

Indeed... but I'll just exchange a norc clone of it for AWOL's real Sig.. he'll never notice I'm sure!

You are correct... right now I wouldn't notice as I'm still waiting for the LTATT. By the time it shows up, I will be on location in Regina for a large contract my team will be working on. Sitting inside my safe, a Norc is every bit as much fun as a Sig!!

:(

Bah!!! You evil bugger.. spoiling my plans!!! :p

btw you still haven't come over for a beer yet :p

I went to my range today to do one of my probation shoots and i used a sig for my .40 cal shoot and OMG. Sigs are the BEST. Im trading in my gen 4 glock for a sig. Anyone know if the norc sigs are all that different than real sigs? Now i know why so many ppl love sigs.

I have tried the Norc "Sig wannabe" next to a real Sig. I have made the following observations:

A norc is not a Sig. A Norc is a good gun for the money. A Norc only looks like a Sig but shoots like a Norc. It is what it is. If you want a Norc, buy a Norc as they are decent guns for the money. If you want a Norc that looks like a Sig but shoots like a Norc, buy a Norc. If you want a Sig that shoots like a Sig, buy a Sig.

Thats what i was thinking to. I'm probably going to save up some cash and trade in my glock throw in the cash and get a sig. Are the recertified sigs good or do they have any problems with them and thats why the are being sold so cheap?

I have both a Sig (p220 combat) and a Glock 17. Probably not comparing apples to apples (9mm vs .45acp) but I can't personally say I would trade one to get the other. I enjoy shooting both HG's.
IMO keep the Glock and save for a SIG (if you want one).
I'm sure the recertified Sigs are good. You probably couldn't tell the dif between a new one and a used one ;)
