What a cool Father's Day gift!

My wife and kids bought me a brand spanking new Winchester Model 1892 in 44 Remington Magnum. I've always wanted a 92 and now I finally have one. Does anybody else out there own one in this calibre? Do you reload for it? What recipes does it like?

I had a trapper in 44 that was a great little gun that I really regret letting go, it seemed to prefer 240gn and up pills, I used mainly hard cast lead swc or lrn bullets. I will check and see if I still have loads for it hanging around but it did powder puff 22lr feeling loads up to ouch loads with ease.

It came in the mail tonight. What an awesome little carbine. I can see this would make a great little dogging gun for deer or over a bait for bears. My 10 year old son thought it fit him pretty good. He can't wait to try and hit a gong with it. The fit and finish is perfect. I'm really impressed. At six pounds and 37-1/2" long it sure is handy.
