What a deal on SKS-D!

I don't understand all the fuss about the D. Is it a fascination with the AK mag? Had one for a dozen years and sold it 4-5 yrs ago. Should have kept it as an investment but no thanks, its stripper clips for me. I found it much easier to re-load with stripper clips than the fiddly mags.

But at a hundred, I might be persuaded to buy a D.

Sorry, but I have to share with those that may appreciate this... This weekend I picked up a neglected sks-d with two mags and 290 rounds of non corrosive ammo for $100! It works great, I cleaned and oiled it and it is smooth. It needs a stock and the bayonet lug, that was cut off, smoothed out. I could not pass it up.

Check your barrel for Chrome lining. A lot of the SKS-D rifles imported to Canada have non chrome lined barrels.

Back in 2010 I Sold my mint SKS-D with 1- 5 rd, 1-20 rd and 2- 30rd mags for $375 to a cgn'er two months later saw the guy at the Chilliwack gun show selling just the gun and 5 rd mag for $600

Internet high five!

I picked one up the other night at a gas station for $150. Guess they didn't know what it was.

Now I need to find AK mags...
