What a good price for a k98 ?

I was looking at buying a k98 . I'm not knowledgable enough to make the call but I found a clean looking k98 that seems to be from 1944 with matching numbers , what would be a good price range for somethng like that ?

Whelp, depending on condition, you have about $2000 of knowledge to catch up on!

All original , Russian capture , or other? Values vary WIDELY. Like $600-$2000 wildly.

Apparently it's not Russian capture , has all the German markings on it . That said the girl selling it isn't responding to me so , it's either sold or she on vacation

Lots of RC still have german markings, lots of post war refurbs have the markings too and "matching" numbers. But aren't right.

The values above are decent. 500-2500 or more if rare and mint. But pics are needed.
