Sad part is that is a USGI 1911A1 frame in the pic. One of those big steel boxes of pistols contained USGI 1911A1 .45ACP pistols. Personally, I could give a rat's ass about the Toks or the Makarovs. But USGI's? Those bastards!

I counted 7 boxes on the pictures. If that's what the number on the label means, each container had 500 guns in it, so that's 3500 guns. Even with only $50 a piece it would have been well over $150,000 worth of guns, all brand new...
What exactly is the profit margin on the pile of scrap metal there?

It is not the loss of $150,000 that is the issue. The real issue is the unfulfilled, never realized joy of shooting these pistols. That joy is priceless.....
