What a surprise I received Transfer Approval from the RCMP dated October 25 2023.

Another cryptic post by him. I'm pretty sure the buyer really loves you flaunting the serial number around.

I've always wondered about this. Some people are super protective of serial numbers, others aren't. What could possibly be done with a serial number? I'm thinking not much but maybe I'm missing something?

What a surprise!

I just communicated with the buyer who had also received notice from the RCMP that the transfer had been approved.
The buyer will be picking up the Lancester "this afternoon" from the fellow that completed doing the work that the RCMP required.
The first gunsmith could not complete what was required, so the gun was shipped across the country to another expert.

The buyer paid for this Lancester with a bank draft on August 6 2019.

I requested the transfer on August 12 2019.

Pretty bad when the government can change before you can get a prohib approval done within the legal framework they designed.

Comment from the buyer.

I had it shipped here to Calgary so that a young gunsmith at Proline Shooters could work on it. They have a movie prop license so he has a lot of experience with full autos.
He had to build a completely new trigger mechanism from scratch.
