What Action Is This?

You are welcome. I shoot down in Milo. I can let you know when I'm headed down, and can show you the 1900 first hand if you like. PM me if you are interested.
LOL!!! Thanks for the offer. I-as-well shoot down at Milo, .........................for snow geese.

OK guys! I was on the hunt for a 6.5x55 Swede for a long time. Thanks for the comments made on this thread about the Husqvarna, I made the purchase...........here it is. It's a Viking Arms Model 1900, manufactured in the 1980's.

I had a small collection of 1900s, I have one left, a 9.3x62 in a deluxe stock that I refinished, doubtful I would ever sell it.

That said control round feed action tend to be a bit more “clunky”, they can be really smooth but a bit clunky.
This ^^^^. The 1640 CRF has a, to me, satisfying ka-chonk, ka-chonk. It's probably as close to being a bomb-proof action as you can get. But it isn't "smooth" as such. Both of mine like it a bit rough, and you need to give the handle a definite pull or push.

The push feed 1900 is super, super smooth. I mean, the handle rotates up and down with barely a click, and you can push the bolt back and forth with one finger with no sound.

The 1900 action is fully described, illustrated and analyzed in Chapter 12, "Carl Gustaf", pp. 182-197, of Stuart Otteson's book, The Bolt Action, A Design Analysis Volume II, 1985
