What am I looking for?

I'm looking for a new/used rifle in .243 for my brother. He'd prefer something in synthetic/stainless but wouldn't turn down a wood/blued combo. The only requirement is that it must have a detachable magazine. He owns, and likes, a Tikka T3 in .300WSM so another T3 is a possibilty. I know that Savage makes a model or two that would fit the bill as does Sako. Does anyone have any ideas or first-hand experience on something I've overlooked? Thanks for any ideas.

Going by the article I read in the recent Rifle magazine, they tested a .243 stainless/synthetic with a detachable maazine. They also claimed the rifle averaged 1 inch groups.
