I put a game cam up in the marsh behind the house, and got this weird video of some animal. I live near Parkhill in SW Ont, and on the game cam I have pics of deer, coyotes, raccoon, possums and turkeys.
But then I get this video one night. What the heck is it? The camera was about four feet off the ground. Doesn't look like a deer....wrong head and ears, not a coyote.
Could this just be a large dog of some kind? We've been here 13 years, and I've never seen a dog around that looks like this, but doesn't mean it isn't here.
What do you think?

It isn't what others think.

I have seen them before, there are a few in captivity but even less in the wild.

Didn't know there made their way to Ontario though, the territory must be changing due to human interference with their normal habitat.

What you have there is the droopy eared off-white-lab-abrador-relinquisher(only one ear will sag as noted in the video, the other I guarantee will be perfectly upright)This animal derives it name as it is known to steal tennis balls, swim out into open water and leave them there.

I'd say deer. Long eyelashes, eyes on side of head. They put their ears back sometimes if they feel threatened, like when they're fighting over food. This is an infrared cam, but looks to not be a "no glow", so he's defintely checking out the source of light or whatever. Infrared makes most things look white at night, especially since it records in b&w.

It IS a Bushnell NO-GLOW camera.
Here are two other videos to compare. Camera in exactly same place. One shows a deer at night, the other during the day. Compare to the mystery shot.

Here is a still shot of a deer, same place, at night.

Baby llama. Possible albino chupacabra.

I wondered about that. At first I thought it was a nauga (prized for their hides), but they are mostly extinct in SW Ont. Twenty years ago there were lots, and we used to hunt them with the .17/20mm wildcat, as they are very tough.
