and i am not interested in a norinco i am sure they work great but dont want one
my pirce range is around 15 thanks

For $15 I'll sell you a few pieces of brass. LOL. You could buy a nice Canadian built NEA. You would have money left over to buy accessories or ammo, even a decent optic.

for 1500$ you can build this minus the kool aid

I have a Daniel Defense and LMT. Both are excellent rifles and highly recommended. There is great pricing from some of the sponsors on either rifle or an NEA rifle would also be great.

I just built my first AR...upper is completely made out of Stag components, and lower is a Spike's with Stag LPK. Reason I went with Stag is because I'm a lefty and wanted to build a lefty AR...no regrets. In fact, I'm very happy with the results.

i really like how the stagg has life time warrenty

A friend of mine put it like this to me, Whats a warranty really?? Is it something a company offers to their customers because they know there product will be a "fix and repair daily affair" or because they know there product will not be returned ever anyways so putting a lifetime warranty just makes the customer feel good..

Stag seems to make a good AR with good quality control, and the Stags up here seem to be made very well, but there are other great options already out there that have been previously mentioned.

DD comes in at a great price point if they get up here in country, and as mentioned Spikes,LMT CORE15 are great option as well. Lots to choose from and used is probably the best bet.

Most importantly just makes sure you get the specification you want? This includes chamber, barrel twist, Commercial VS Mil-spec standards VS Above Mil-spec standard as well. F/A BCG VS SEMI BCG, I recommend F/A always, not a big deal for some of this stuff but it might be a nuisance.

Get what you really what and don't settle if you have to...

Hope that helps...

I think a few years ago the budget minded bought a Norc M4, but prices have come down where you can get better quality with most of the add-on features.
Makes no sense to me to buy a $700 rifle and add $900 accessories when you can get a $1500 DD, Core, Stag or NEA with all those add-ons. For $1500 you could build your own if so inclined with quality parts.
Makes more sense to me to buy a Norc M4 as is. Use it and sell it for something else if your tight for money. Seems like too many fit and function variables on that rifle.

I'm awaiting my NEA. By the time I add my Aimpoint, BUIS and trigger work, your over $1500 easy. Lifetime warranty is great as long as the company offering it is still in business. ;)

Stag Arms offers a lifetime warranty because they (and in Canada, the distributor AEI) are proud to stand behind their product.

Yes, we do virtually 0 warranty work, but if a customer feels good knowing that his rifle has a lifetime warranty, and a manufacturer and distributor are proud to stand behind the rifle, and that warranty is real and valid in Canada, I don't see any problems there.

Bought my barrel assembly and LPK from AEI...couldn't be happier with the products or service. :D

Here's the end product...

This statement reminds me of this ol' clip! :D Nothing against Stag at all, just went together too well with this mentality.

That's exactly the thing I thought of. "Because they know all they sold ya was a guaranteed piece of ####. That's all it is, isn't it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time. But for now, for your customer's sake, for your daughter's sake, ya might wanna think about buying a quality product from me." classic!

i have a stag model 2tr i picked it up just after x mas, its a ###y beast! for your price range 1500 id sacrifce a few cases of beer and toss in a extra 100 and sum odd bucks, id highly recomend it. had it out to range alot since the weathers got nice and not one malfunction. the samson free float rail is rock solid and the trigger is a nice pull. the recievers feel like thier one piece. the only down fall to it and it really doesnt even matter cuz you use ear protection at the range anyway, is the muzzle break is loud as hell but on the upside there is virtually zerro muzzle climb. I havnt shot any of the more exspensive ARs out there aside from our C7 but id say if s*** hit the fan id trust my life with it. the 223 wylde barrel is another perk aswell.
