what are good movies with 1911's?

"We Were Soldiers" The Sgt Major played by Sam Elliot has some classic lines about the M16 (BB gun) and his .45 Colt is his favourite

The Punisher

I preferred the second recent one, but the first one (with Thomas Jane) focused almost exclusively on it's final scene of 1911 combat - the AR was decommissioned shortly after the fire-fight starts. Also, Jane went through rigorous special-ops training, and came out shining.

For those who like older movies, I still get a kick out watching "The Killer Elite" with James Caan, Robert Duvall and Bo Hopkins. The scene where Burt Young calmly turns to Bo Hopkins who is in the back seat of his cab, and sticks the 1911 in his face breaks me up.

The 1911 also has a starring (if short) role in "Apocalypse Now."

Black Hawk Down in one of the final scenes where the two sniper ( Randy Shughart & Gary Gordon) secure the Durant crash site there is a good scene of a 1911.
