Hi
I have two double barrel shot guns I want to sell but have no idea what they are worth
one is a marshell arms company 12 gauge and the other is an Ithica gun co. 12 gauge..
can anyone help?

To give an educated guess on the value of something, you need as much information as possible. In this case , a picture will really help, do they have outside hammers, are they Damascus barrels, what markings are on the barrels or side plates, when you open the gun on the flat of the receiver what marks are there, when you remove the barrel under the barrel at the breech what marks are there? With this information the guess can be made but the finally value is tempered by total condition and if someone in your area even wants it. Some things have lots of collector interest , somethings don't. But more information will give you a better idea.

Lorder, I don't know anything about the Marshall gun, but Ithaca double guns have a following, and some of them can be worth some money. Ithaca produced several doubles over the years with model names like Flues, Crass and NID. How much your gun is worth depends on several factors such as what model it is, what grade it is (if it says Sousa grade you are in luck) and, most importantly, its current condition. Collectors of American shotguns are fanatical about factory original condition, so a gun that has been altered or refinished loses significant value. A well used but original condition example is still a desirable gun.

If you can post a picture of the gun the model and the grade can be determined. Then and only then can a value be determined. Almost any Ithaca double will find a buyer, even if only as a parts gun.
