What are my options for new sites 336C

Hey fellas

and while they certainly look really nice, don't exactly want to spend 100 bucks on it. Thats almost a scope or alottttta ammo.

so, what are my options?

If you don't want to spend close to a hundred bucks you have no options as far as aperature sights go.

There's aftermarket buckhorn sights for 30 or 40 but there's not a lot of difference between them and stock Marlin sights.

Damn. Thanks salty...

guess i'll be spending my check on them, then!

superd: Don't want to mount a scope on this. Already have a scoped rifle, this is supposed to be my open sites one! :D

I wasn't aware of that Williams model JTA. I've seen this type - designed to mount on the rear scope mount for various rifles, but none that fit a Marlin. I stand corrected. Cool.

I've got the more traditional side mount Williams aperature sight worth ~ $80. Its designed much like this Lyman:

which is probably my favorite peep sight for a Marlin. :) I think I paid right close to $100 for this one from SIR...
