what are signs that your gas rings are worn out?

I trie d McFarland.. It's not very good. After about 100 rounds or so it was worn out. I have a second, but, wil. Probably just go back to gas rings. Not worth it I think.

replaced the rings, holds its own weight now. Not a bloody chance before.lol Thanks for the lesson guys!


One note- brownells shipping is retarded. They sent the rings inside a box that was about 8x8x12..... inside was some air bags, and the rings in a small ziplock that could have fit into an envelope. :rolleyes:

I just replaced mine in all three bolts. Almost thirty cents worth of piece of mind.

You should have had Brownell's stuff some more stuff in that box!
