What are the best cheap scopes out there?

Well I do like my 3200 but I thought I might venture out and see what else it out there. I really want a mildot scope. I am just seeing what are my options.

What about Muller scopes?

if your looking for cheap mil-dot look at the mar-star line up of scopes cheap yet functional not sure how well they do though

Wow that is cheap, I have also heard that a cardboard paper towel roll with glad cling wrap over both ends works too

Actually, that could work. It would be like a red dot sight, except that you'd have to line up the dots yourself.

Sorry Redd, If you are paying that much for a VXI you are paying wayyyyyy too much. I am holding the Russels sports book in front of me and VXI's range from $299-$449. A VXII 3-9x40 is only $449.

The Riflemans range from $289-$349.

Where ever you buy your scopes from is priced much too high. Hopefully they are kissing your neck before they stick it in

I work in a gunstore and I definitely don't pay that much... so don't you fret little buddy.
This years prices are the same as you quoted from Russels... I should have checked.
While you have the books in front of you you should probably check the specs on the new Leupolds ... then you can give the correct information.

Sorry I dont keep up on low end scope all that much. Between the Rifleman and the VXI which are almost the same scope, the VXI having better lense coating I would go with the VXI. But I dont have to make the final decision.

I myself wont buy anything less than a VXII, but thats just me

BTW Redd, I dont pay retail either but just on Leupold. For the rest I am just a chump like everyone else.

The muellers are fantastic scopes. The tac 2 is WAY better than a 3200 - not even close. But i believe it's about 350 bucks. It's mildot tho.

The regular muellers are better than the vx-1. I've kept one on my gun instead of putting the vx-1 that was on it back on. But if you can afford it - get the tac 2 .. it's a lifetime scope that just doesn't give up any ground on the 'expensive' ones.

The second one is one i wrote with bone collector. If anyone can break a scope, it's bone collector. We were brutal to these things for a whole season, and they stood up very well. The canadian distributer is in the review.
